About Me
As an artist, I find myself enamored with establishing a deeper understanding of how space and place affects the divine feminine. While studying to receive my Bachelor Degree in Music Business at Belmont University, I was pulled from my path into a sense of belonging within the art department on campus. Through black and white film photography, I became fascinated by the influence contrast had in my compositions. This led to my early work of dark oil-on-linen peonies. Post-Covid I moved to New Orleans, a city that stole my heart with its grandeur Mardi Gras, unpretentious art scene and the ethereal world of strippers. Building upon this, today my work looks deeper into the devine feminine and the beautiful, tenebrous world of sex work. Each new project pulled from the one before it, I find inspiration to be a path built from the ground up. I create beautiful things so I can be immersed in beautiful things. The spectator is challenged to derive a new perspective on their own morality and understanding of sexual citizenship. I continue my practice in London, England where I am studying to receive my Masters Degree in Fine Art from Goldsmiths.
