Emilee Oliver is from Decatur, Illinois. She studied Music Business at Belmont University before moving to New Orleans where she works with oil-paint, ceramics, still image, and textiles alongside dancing. Her work includes strong themes of the Divine Feminine and Holy Whore, challenging the spectator to derive a new perspective on the ways women are categorized and to find deeper understanding of sexual citizenship.
